Denton Record Chronicle
Denton Media approached SWOOP, UNT's student-run ad agency, for general advice and ideas that would help strengthen marketing for their e-edition. Upon research, we discovered that the media company could benefit from an update to their website. We based our entire project's work around turning the e-edition into a customizable webpage accessible from anywhere at any time. At the rate news services are adapting to an online audience, we thought it would be smart for the Denton Record Chronicle to also put themselves at the forefront of the digital news market.

Over the course of the semester, we worked to re-adapt the website and researched how best to market to current and potential consumers. We established various access touch-points in which consumers build an association or connect with Denton Media as a brand. This aided us in developing various deliverables that the company could potentially implement in the future.
To contribute to the project, I reworked Denton Record Chronicle's logo, and also refreshed their webpage, reimagining it as a user-friendly, customizable site. I directed a photoshoot and created a series of postcards that utilized these photographs. The postcards would be sent out to current e-edition subscribers to keep them connected with Denton Media as a brand and to gather readers' feedback. I also created a brochure to be placed at locations such as banks, the chamber of commerce, and real estate agencies to give business owners an overall introduction to Denton Media's brand.

We pitched all of these ideas and more to the company as a team. They have not yet implemented any changes. My contributions to the project can be seen below.
